Lymphatic Massage

The lymphatic system is a circulatory system made up of lymph vessels, which are much like blood vessels. It drains extra fluid (called lymph) that has passed out of the blood and into tissues and returns it back to the blood. I think of it as a sort of recycling service to the cells in your body. We all know that the blood brings all sorts of nourishment to the body, but as most living organisms, with food - there is also waste after it is used. Our body uses the lymphatic system to take cell waste away and clean it, recycle it and reuse it.

Most of this looks and feels like fluid. If you have had an injury and the injured area is recovering, but remains swollen or heavy, a lymphatic massage would be excellent in facilitating the lymph in doing it's job!

A lymph massage is very slow, very gentle, and very relaxing! It is helpful for all people - not just those with injuries. All bodies benefit from a lymphatic massage.

Because the massage is done slowly, 90 minutes are required for me to assist the entire body. Therefore, lymphatic massage sessions are automatically set up for 90 minutes and cost $110, which is the same price as any 90 minute session in my studio.

I can also incorperate lymphatic massage into your regular massage - just ask! :-)
